The "Polish Poems under Chinese Pen and Ink" calligraphy exhibition was held at the Polish Embassy in China on the evening of October 20th. The calligraphy works presented to the Polish ambassador to China Wojciech Zajaczkowski by five calligraphers Gedimaga, Hong Houtian, Zeng Laide, Chen Shibin, and Cheng Xinglin were on display. Guests spent a wonderful night learning Chinese and Polish poetry.

Professor Zhao Gang, vice president of Beijing Foreign Studies University, introduced two great poets, Cheslaw Milosz and Wislawa Szymborska, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1980 and 1996 respectively. Their Chinese poems were displayed in the form of calligraphy by Chinese calligraphers.
Professor Zhao Gang and Mrs. Izabelli Zajaczkowskiej, the ambassador's wife, recited poems in Chinese and Polish respectively.
Mr. Krzysztof Florczyk, the diplomat of the embassy, played a Chopin piano peace
Mr. Jidi MaJia, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, delivered a speech and introduced the calligraphy works

In the midsummer, the "Swiss Architecture Month" jointly created by the Swiss Embassy in China and the Archives Bookstore kicked off on the Anaya Seaside in Qinhuangdao City. the opening forum of "Swiss Architecture Month" was held at the Sanlian Seaside Public Welfare Libraryon the seaside of Anaya.
