President Rafael Correa Delgado of the Republic of Ecuador, who paid a state visit to China on January 5, 2015 at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, attended a meeting of Chinese expatriates in China held at the Public Diplomacy & Culture Exchange Center in Beijing on the evening of January 6. More than 300 overseas Chinese and international students attended the ceremony. Ma Zhenxuan, chairman of the Center, exchanged gifts with the President and delivered a speech at the event and accepted media interviews.
